The Bellingham Play Library has a HOME, and we’re so excited to get started!

First, please follow us on Instagram. It will be the most frequently updated place for news as we iron out the logistics of how we’re going to make this happen. That is where we will share the most up to date information about donating materials, signing up for a membership, and more.

The Bellingham Play Library will live at 1801 Ellis Street: we will store our materials and host pop-up check-in/check-out events at the play library.

The next step is to accept donations to build the toy catalog! The more donations we receive, the more beta memberships we can offer for a mid-March opening.

So many people have inquired about donations, and those will be essential to our launch! After the holidays, lots of families are looking to declutter, and we are more than happy to take toys for the library catalog. Please see this page about what we’re looking for, and what we can and cannot take. Please take some time to clean toys as well as you can before donating them: this will save us lots of time!

We anticipate that over time there will be some specific toys that we purchase new, but donations of toys in very good condition will make memberships very accessible for all community members.
